Dana Verde is an acclaimed filmmaker and educator known for her diverse contributions to cinema and media. She has garnered international recognition for her work, having written and directed eight short films that collectively screened in over 30 prestigious film festivals worldwide.

Dana's journey into the world of film began during her time at The New School University, where she pursued a degree in Media Studies and Screenwriting while co-hosting the popular MTV show, Your Movie Show, as a film reviewer. Her passion for storytelling led her to further her education at The London Film School in the UK, earning a Master of Arts in Filmmaking.

Returning to the United States after her studies, Dana made her mark with her independently produced feature film, Grand Gesture. The film received critical acclaim, earning a nomination for Best Feature Film by HBO at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival and screening in the Best of series at the Black Harvest Film Festival in Chicago.

Dana's talent attracted attention in the industry, leading to collaborations with notable figures such as Brandon T. Jackson, who commissioned her to write two comedy feature scripts for his production company, Class Clown. Her screenplay, The Perfect Match, produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit and distributed by Lionsgate, debuted impressively at No. 6 at the U.S. box office, opening in 925 theaters nationwide. Her creative versatility extends to television commercial directing, where she has co-directed commercials with esteemed directors such as David Shane for Paramount+ and Jim Jenkins for Merge Mansion.

Passionate about storytelling, Dana established 3CK Media (Third Culture Kid Media), a forward-thinking production company specializing in intersectional media.
